This software tool is a powerful audio extractor and converter that supports almost all known formats. It fully supports batch processing, and thus it allows you to extract the audio from several video files and to convert several audio files in a single operation. Moreover, it allows you to set a different output profile for every source file to be processed, among other features.
With a futuristic and comfortable design, the program allows you to add many source audio and video files to the conversion list. Then you can change the conversion order, remove any of the files or even clear your entire list very easily. You can either assign a different output profile to each file or extract the audio (or convert all your source files) using the same output format. In this case, you should select and configure the output format before adding your source files to the list.
In the program's main window, there is also a preview area that allows you to play, pause, stop or forward any of the source files on your list. It also lets you take snapshots of the playing video in several graphic formats. Additionally, you will notice some extra tools that are not directly related to the main functionality the program provides. For example, the "Effect" button will take you to a window where you can apply some effects to your video files, such as changing their brightness, contrast, and saturation levels - of course, it does not make any sense to apply any video effects when all you can obtain is audio files. This is probably because the program might have been originally designed as a much more comprehensive video and audio converter, but several of its functions have been disabled to transform it into a mere audio converter and extractor.
Back to the main window, you can also select the audio track you want to extract (in case more than one is available), the output profile for each source file, and your preferred output folder. You can also configure some advanced parameters of your chosen output profile, such as the audio encoder, sample rate, bit rate, and the number of channels. Once again, the program also includes several video parameters, but all of them have been disabled. There are some other effects, however, that do apply to the functionality that the program provides. For example, you can trim the audio of your files or set a new volume level for it.
The conversion process is fast and it produces high-quality results, according to the settings selected. Of course, it will largely depend on the length and quality of your source video and audio files.
